PRINCE JUNIOR FOUNDATION UGANDA

EMPOWERING LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION AND OPPORTUNITY

Our Story

Prince Junior Foundation Uganda was established by Mr. Joseph Gaige Kimbugwe, an educationist and social entrepreneur whose life journey reflects resilience, perseverance, and a deep commitment to community transformation.

Having grown up under challenging circumstances—losing his mother and grandmother at an early age and facing financial and emotional hardships—Mr. Kimbugwe experienced the barriers that many underprivileged children encounter in accessing education. Through determination, hard work, and the support of well-wishers, he successfully pursued his studies up to tertiary level, gaining a profound understanding of the value of opportunity and mentorship.

Driven by his personal experiences, he founded Prince Junior School , which later inspired the creation of Prince Junior Foundation—a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting inclusive education, child welfare, and youth empowerment.

The Foundation exists to provide educational opportunities, mentorship, and social support to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It also works to strengthen communities by investing in education, sports, and capacity-building programs that foster self-reliance and sustainable development.

Our Mission

To empower children and youth through education, mentorship, and community-driven initiatives that promote equity, dignity, and lifelong learning.

Our Vision

A society where every child, regardless of background, has equal access to education and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Working Hand in Hand with the Community

At Prince Junior Foundation Uganda, community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We regularly organize seminars, outreach programs, and training sessions that bring together parents, youth, educators, and local leaders to share knowledge, build skills, and strengthen relationships within the community.

These gatherings create spaces for open dialogue and collective growth — where young people are empowered to dream bigger, and families are supported with the tools and guidance they need to nurture those dreams. Through these continuous efforts, we aim to promote education, life skills, and social development that lead to lasting change.

Our team believes that transformation happens when we walk alongside the communities we serve — listening, learning, and working together toward a future where every child and youth can thrive. This spirit of partnership and consistent engagement defines who we are and fuels our mission every day.

Sharing Hope, One Meal at a Time

In a world where many go without, sometimes the greatest gift is simply being together. During our visit to vulnerable children in the community, we shared not just food — but smiles, laughter, and love. Each meal served was a reminder that kindness feeds more than the body; it nourishes the soul.

At Prince Junior Foundation Uganda, we believe that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do — to bring hope where it’s needed most.

Bringing Hope to Karamoja

In our recent outreach to Karamoja, we met children whose courage moved us deeply. Many of them are orphans of conflict, growing up in communities still healing from the effects of war. Despite the challenges, their spirit to learn remains unbroken — studying under trees, barefoot, and with little to no learning materials.

Together with our team, we offered what we could — scholastic materials and words of encouragement to remind them that they are not forgotten. Yet, as we shared smiles and supplies, we were reminded that the need is still great.

At Prince Junior Foundation Uganda, we believe every child deserves a chance to learn in dignity and safety. Our visit to Karamoja strengthened our resolve to continue supporting these children — not just with materials, but with hope, opportunity, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
